Stem Cell Therapy

The Infusio Concept / Medical / Stem Cell Therapy
Stem Cell Therapy

Stem cell therapy is a type of regenerative medicine which is described as the use of tissues that have the ability to repair, replace or restore biological structures and functions that may be lacking due to aging, disease or destruction. Stem cells have recently taken center stage in current international biological and medical research. During the last five years, the use of stem cells has been expanded from laboratory research and animal experiments, to their application in humans. Their use is documented in extensive national and international academic literature. Many research centers have reported successful stem cell therapies for various illnesses as well as regenerative procedures.

HOW THE INFUSIO CONCEPT MAY HELP YOU

What are stem cells?

Stem cells are life’s “library” and “construction workers.” They are responsible for the renewal and healing of the entire body. Stem cells can be guided into becoming specific cells that can be used to regenerate and repair diseased or damaged tissues in people. A stem cell is one that has the potential to replicate and differentiate into a different type of cell. This means that stem cells have the ability to multiply and then change into various types of tissues based on several factors present in their environment.

What kind of stem cells are used?

The term stem cell is very broad and there are many different types of stem cells. It is important to make a distinction between embryonic and autologous (one’s own) adult stem cells. Autologous adult stem cells can be gathered from various areas in the body such as bone marrow, umbilical cord, or from the circulating blood.

What is the procedure?

Our procedure is as follows: After preparing the immune system, we perform a large blood draw (usually about 300cc) from which we harvest stem cells. These are sorted and checked for quality, after which they are incubated with cytokines to stimulate replication. After approximately seven days we have enough stem cells for implantation. These are usually injected subcutaneously into the lymphatic system. They can also be applied to a specific area.

What are the risks?

Due to the fact that autologous stem cells are taken from your own body, there are virtually no risks involved. The cells are prepared in a special laboratory under sterile conditions.

In our laboratory we focus on the treatment of illnesses, heart diseases, liver diseases, diabetes mellitus type II, neurological diseases, muscle diseases, chronic pain syndromes, health, beauty, and best aging.
